A Reason to Stay Outside After Dark
Southwest Florida evenings are the best part of the day, and most backyards out here go quiet the second the sun drops. A fire feature changes that. It gives people somewhere to sit, something to look at, and a reason to pull chairs into a circle instead of heading back inside to the TV.
Prestige Landscaping Group FL designs and builds fire pits and outdoor fireplaces for homes around Labelle, Lehigh Acres, Felda, Alva and Palmdale. Owner Juan Arizmendi handles the planning himself, so the person who walks your property and talks through the idea is the same person standing behind the finished work.
Some folks want something simple — a low stone ring off the back patio, room for six chairs, done. Others want a full masonry fireplace with a chimney, a hearth to sit on, and wood storage built into the sides. We're happy building either one. The right answer usually has more to do with how you actually use the yard than with anything in a catalog.
Fire Pits, Fireplaces, and Everything Around Them
A fire feature almost never stands alone. It needs a surface under it, seating around it, and a path that gets people there without walking through wet grass. We handle the whole picture so it doesn't end up looking like something that got dropped in later.
- Custom fire pits — round, square, or built to match the shape of an existing patio
- Outdoor fireplaces — full masonry builds with a hearth, mantel and chimney
- Gas or wood burning — we'll walk you through what each one means for upkeep and running cost
- Patio and paver work — a proper non-combustible surface underneath and around the feature
- Built-in seat walls — permanent seating that never blows over in a summer storm
- Walkways and steps — so the fire pit connects to the house instead of sitting off on its own
- Landscape lighting — low-level light on the path and plantings so the fire stays the brightest thing out there
- Planting around the feature — beds and screening that soften the hardscape and give the space some privacy
We build it so it still looks right in ten years. Not just the week we finish.
How We Build Yours
No two yards out here are the same. Lot sizes, drainage, how the wind moves across the property, where the neighbors' windows are — all of it matters when you're deciding where a fire goes. So we start by looking, not by quoting.
- We come out and walk the yard. You tell us how you picture using the space, how many people you usually have over, and where you'd want to sit.
- We talk placement. Clearance from the house, fence lines and overhanging trees, plus which direction the smoke is likely to drift.
- We put together a plan and a price. Materials, size, gas or wood, and what the surrounding patio and lighting look like. No vague numbers.
- We build it. Proper base prep, correct materials rated for heat, and a crew that cleans up the site at the end of each day.
- We show you how to run it. Lighting it, shutting it down, and what little maintenance it'll need season to season.
Base prep is the part nobody sees and the part that decides whether the whole thing settles or cracks a few years down the road. We don't shortcut it. Florida sand and summer rain are unforgiving on hardscape that was rushed.
Serving Labelle, Lehigh Acres, Felda, Alva & Palmdale
We work throughout Labelle, Lehigh Acres, Felda, Alva and Palmdale, on everything from tight suburban lots to properties with real acreage. On the bigger lots, a fire pit set out away from the house with a lit path leading to it is one of the best things you can do with the space. On smaller lots, a compact fireplace against a wall does more for the yard than most people expect.
Our phone is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Call or text (239) 237-9787or email prestigelandscapegroupfl@gmail.com with a couple of photos of your yard and a rough idea of what you have in mind. We'll set up a time to come look.
