A Patio That Fits How You Actually Use Your Yard

Most people don't call us because they want pavers. They call because the grass behind the house dies every summer, or the folding chairs sink into the dirt, or the grill sits on a patch of mud eight months out of the year. A paver patio solves the practical problem first — a flat, dry, usable surface — and happens to look good doing it.

Prestige Landscaping Group FL is owned and run by Juan Arizmendi, and we build paver patios across Labelle, Lehigh Acres, Felda, Alva and Palmdale. Every job starts with a conversation about size and shape, because a patio that's too small gets used once and then ignored. We'd rather talk you into the right footprint up front than come back later to extend it.

Pavers make sense in this part of Florida for a few reasons. They handle heat and heavy rain without cracking the way a single concrete slab does. If a section ever settles or a root pushes up underneath, individual pavers lift out and go back in — no jackhammer, no patched gray scar across the middle of your yard. And if you want to add a walkway or extend toward the pool later, the new work ties into the old cleanly.

How We Build a Paver Patio

The part nobody sees is the part that decides whether your patio still looks right in ten years. Sand alone under pavers is how you end up with a wavy, weedy surface. Here's the order we work in:

  • Walk the site. We look at how water drains, where the sun sits in the afternoon, and how the patio connects to your door, driveway and the rest of the yard.
  • Mark the layout. You see the actual shape and size on the ground before anything gets dug, so there are no surprises.
  • Excavate. We remove sod and soil to the depth the patio needs, which depends on the size and what's going to sit on it.
  • Build and compact the base. This is the foundation, and we don't rush it. A properly compacted base is what keeps pavers from shifting and dipping.
  • Screed the sand bed. A consistent setting layer means a consistent surface underfoot.
  • Lay the pavers. Pattern, borders and cuts done to the lines we marked with you.
  • Edge, sand the joints and compact again. Edge restraint keeps the perimeter tight; joint sand locks everything together and slows weeds down.
  • Clean up. Debris hauled off, surrounding grass and beds tidied. You get the yard back, not a work site.

We also handle the things that usually come with a patio — a walkway out to the driveway, a paver border around a planting bed, or reworking the surrounding landscaping so the new patio doesn't sit there looking like it landed from somewhere else. Ask when we come out and we'll price it together.

Where We Work

We serve Labelle, Lehigh Acres, Felda, Alva and Palmdale. That's a spread of neighborhoods, acreage properties and newer builds, and the right patio looks different on each. A half-acre lot in Alva with room for a fire pit area isn't the same project as a tight backyard in Lehigh Acres where every square foot counts. Same care either way.

We're open Monday through Sunday, 24 hours. Call when it works for you — weekends and evenings included.

Those hours aren't a gimmick. Plenty of our customers work six days a week and the only time they can walk the yard with somebody is Sunday morning or after dark on a Tuesday. We answer the phone then.

Getting Started With Prestige Landscaping Group FL

Call (239) 237-9787 or email prestigelandscapegroupfl@gmail.com and tell us roughly what you're picturing — a patio off the back door, a spot for the grill and a table, something bigger. We'll come out, measure, talk through options and give you a straight number. No pressure to decide on the spot.

If you're comparing quotes, ask everyone the same question: what are you doing for the base? The answer tells you a lot about what you're really paying for.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does a paver patio take to build?

It depends on the size and the site, but most residential patios are a matter of days rather than weeks. We'll give you a realistic timeline when we come out and measure, and we'll tell you if weather is likely to push it.

Do pavers get too hot to walk on in Florida?

Color makes a real difference — lighter pavers stay noticeably cooler underfoot than dark ones. We'll go over options with you, especially if the patio is near a pool or you have kids and pets running around barefoot.

What happens if a paver settles or cracks later?

That's one of the main advantages of pavers over a poured slab. Individual pavers can be lifted out and reset or replaced without tearing up the whole patio. Give us a call and we'll take a look.

Can you add on to a patio you built before?

Yes. Extending a paver patio, adding a walkway off it, or tying it into a driveway or pool area is straightforward because the new work keys into the existing pavers.

Which areas do you cover?

Labelle, Lehigh Acres, Felda, Alva and Palmdale. Call (239) 237-9787 if you're near the edge of that area and we'll let you know.

Are you really open 24 hours?
