Trees and shrubs are the slowest part of a yard to fix. A lawn can bounce back in a season, but a hedge that's been cut wrong takes years to grow out of it, and a tree with crossing limbs only gets more tangled the longer it's left. That's why Prestige Landscaping Group FL treats trimming and shaping as its own job, not something rushed at the end of a mowing visit.
Owner Juan Arizmendi and his crew handle tree and shrub care for homes and properties across Labelle, Lehigh Acres, Felda, Alva and Palmdale. Call (239) 237-9787 and tell us what you're looking at — overgrown hedges, low branches over the driveway, a row of shrubs that's gone leggy on one side — and we'll come take a look.
What Trees and Shrubs Need in This Part of Florida
Things grow fast here, and they grow all year. A hedge you shaped in March can be shaggy again by June. Rainy season pushes out soft new growth that flops over, and then the dry months pull everything the other direction. Left alone for a year or two, shrubs get woody in the middle and thin at the bottom, and trees push out weak limbs that catch wind.
Regular light trimming beats one hard cutback every time. Taking a little off on a schedule keeps a plant dense and even. Waiting until it's out of control means cutting back into old wood, and some plants sulk for a long season after that. We'd rather see you a few times a year and keep everything tidy than show up once to a rescue job.
Trim a little, trim often. It's easier on the plant and it's easier on your wallet than starting over.
What We Do for Your Trees and Shrubs
Every property is a little different, so we walk it with you first. Generally, the work falls into these areas:
- Hedge trimming and shaping — keeping lines straight, faces even and the base wider than the top so the bottom doesn't go bare
- Shrub pruning — thinning out crowded interiors so light and air get in, and cutting back growth that's crowding walkways, windows or AC units
- Tree trimming — clearing low limbs over drives and walkways, taking out dead or rubbing branches, and lifting canopies that are shading out the grass below
- Cleanup after the work — clippings, branches and debris hauled off so the yard looks finished when we leave
- Storm-season tidying — cutting back loose, overextended growth before weather turns it into a problem
- Ongoing maintenance visits — coming back on a schedule that fits how fast your plants actually grow
We can handle tree and shrub work as a standalone visit, or fold it into regular lawn care services so one crew is looking after the whole property. Plenty of our customers start with a one-time cleanup and then put us on a schedule once they see the difference.
Where We Work and When You Can Reach Us
We serve Labelle, Lehigh Acres, Felda, Alva and Palmdale. That's a mix of tight residential lots, larger acreage and properties with a good deal of older growth on them, and the approach changes depending on which one you've got. A row of hedges along a Lehigh Acres driveway is a different job than clearing limbs on a few acres out toward Felda, and we price it accordingly.
Our phone line is open Monday through Sunday, 24 hours. Most people call during the day, but if a limb comes down at an odd hour or you only get a chance to think about the yard late at night, you won't hit a voicemail wall. Reach us at (239) 237-9787 or email prestigelandscapegroupfl@gmail.com.
Getting Started with Prestige Landscaping Group FL
Call or email and tell us the address and roughly what you need done. We'll arrange a time to come out, look at what's actually there, and give you a straight number — no guessing over the phone and then changing it once we arrive.
If you're not sure what your plants need, that's fine. Part of the visit is walking the property and telling you what's healthy, what's overgrown, what should be cut now and what's better left until later in the year. You decide from there.
