Most of the year in this part of Florida, the best time to be outside is after the sun goes down. That's also the time of day when a yard you've spent money on basically disappears. Landscape lighting is how you get it back — the oaks, the palms, the beds along the walk, the front of the house itself. Prestige Landscaping Group FL designs and installs outdoor lighting for homes and businesses across Labelle, Lehigh Acres, Felda, Alva and Palmdale.

Owner Juan Arizmendi handles the walkthroughs himself. You'll talk to the person who's going to be responsible for the work, not a salesperson who hands you off. Call (239) 237-9787 and we'll come look at the property.

What Landscape Lighting Actually Does for a Property

Three things, mostly, and they tend to come as a package. The first is safety — steps, level changes, a driveway that curves, a path from the car to the door. Anybody who's rolled an ankle on their own front walk in the dark knows why this matters. The second is security. A house with light on it reads as occupied and cared for. Dark corners along a fence line or behind a hedge stop being dark corners.

The third is the part people don't expect to care about until they see it. A mature oak lit from below looks completely different than it does at noon. Palms throw shadows on a wall. A bed of plantings that's pleasant in daylight becomes the main event at night, because it's the only thing you can see. Good lighting is subtractive — you're choosing what to show and letting everything else go dark. That restraint is most of the job.

Where We Put the Light

Every property is different, but these are the places lighting usually earns its keep:

  • Walkways, front paths and steps — low fixtures that light the ground without glaring into your eyes
  • Driveways and entry gates, so guests can find the turn-in
  • Uplighting on specimen trees, palms and larger shrubs
  • Wash lighting across the front elevation of the house to bring out texture and architecture
  • Patios, lanais, pool decks and outdoor kitchens where people actually sit
  • Planting beds and borders that frame the yard after dark
  • Fence lines, side yards and any spot that currently goes pitch black

We'll also tell you where not to put a fixture. Over-lit yards look like parking lots. The goal is pools of light with shadow in between, not floodlights from every angle.

How We Work With You

It starts with a walk around the property, usually at your convenience — we're available seven days a week, around the clock, so if the only time you can meet is early morning or after work, that's fine. We look at what's already there: the trees worth lighting, the trouble spots, where power is, how the yard is used. Then we talk about what you want the place to feel like when you pull in at night.

From there we put together a plan and a price. No surprise line items. Once you approve it, we handle the installation — running the wire, setting the fixtures, aiming everything and adjusting after dark, because a light that's aimed in daylight is a light that's aimed wrong. We come back at night and fine-tune it.

Lighting also works best when it's considered alongside the rest of the yard. If you're already thinking about new beds, a reworked entry or a full landscape designit's worth planning the lighting at the same time — conduit and fixture locations are far easier to get right before the plants go in than after.

You don't light everything. You light the things worth looking at, and you let the rest fall back.

Serving Labelle, Lehigh Acres, Felda, Alva and Palmdale

We work throughout Labelle, Lehigh Acres, Felda, Alva and Palmdale — ranch properties, subdivision lots, small commercial frontage, all of it. Rural properties out toward Felda and Palmdale often need a different approach than a Lehigh Acres lot, and we plan accordingly.

To get started, call (239) 237-9787 or email prestigelandscapegroupfl@gmail.com. Tell us a bit about the property and we'll set up a time to come out and look at it.

Already have lighting that isn't working?

We also look at existing systems. Fixtures that have gone dark, lights buried by years of growth, aiming that drifted, wiring that's had it. Sometimes it's a straightforward fix and sometimes it's better to start over — we'll tell you honestly which one you're looking at.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get a quote for landscape lighting?

Call (239) 237-9787 or email prestigelandscapegroupfl@gmail.com. We'll arrange a walkthrough of your property, talk through what you want lit, and put together a plan and price from there.

What areas do you cover?

Labelle, Lehigh Acres, Felda, Alva and Palmdale.

When can I reach you?

We're open Monday through Sunday, 24 hours. If the only time you can talk is early or late, call anyway — someone will pick up.

Do you aim the lights at night?

Yes. A fixture aimed in daylight is almost always aimed wrong. We come back after dark to adjust the aim and make sure the finished result looks the way it should.

Can you repair lighting that's already installed?

We do look at existing systems — dead fixtures, overgrown lights, wiring problems, aiming that has drifted over time. After looking at it we'll tell you whether it's worth repairing or whether replacing makes more sense.

Should lighting be planned with other landscaping work?

If you're planning other changes to the yard, yes. It's much easier to set wiring and fixture locations before new beds and plantings go in than to work around them afterward.
