Most people call us about a walkway for one of two reasons. Either the path they've got is cracked, uneven and collecting water, or there's no path at all and everybody's been cutting the same muddy line across the grass for years. Prestige Landscaping Group FL builds walkways and pathways that fix both problems — a proper surface that drains, holds its shape and actually looks like it belongs to the house.

Owner Juan Arizmendi runs the crews himself, and the phone is answered around the clock. If you want to talk through an idea at six in the morning or nine at night, call (239) 237-9787 — somebody picks up.

Why a Walkway Changes How a Property Feels

A path does more work than folks give it credit for. It tells visitors where to go. It keeps shoes out of wet St. Augustine grass after an afternoon storm. It stops the lawn from getting worn down to bare sand in the same three spots every season. And it gives your beds and plantings an edge to sit against, which makes the whole yard read as intentional rather than accidental.

Around here the ground moves. Sandy soil, heavy summer rain, and long dry stretches all pull at anything laid on top of it. That's why a walkway needs a real base underneath, not just a surface dropped onto the dirt and hoped for the best.

Materials and Styles We Work With

We'll match the material to the house, the budget and how much traffic the path is going to take. A front entry that sees deliveries and guests every day needs something different than a quiet trail winding back to a shed.

  • Paver walkways — interlocking pavers in the color and pattern you choose, set on a compacted base with edge restraint so they stay put
  • Stepping stone paths — individual stones set into grass, mulch or gravel for a softer, more informal look
  • Gravel and shell pathways — an affordable option for side yards, garden routes and utility access, with proper edging so the material stays where it belongs
  • Mulched garden trails — simple routes through planted areas that keep feet clean and beds protected
  • Front entry walks — wider approaches from the driveway or street to the door
  • Curved and straight runs — laid out to suit the property rather than forced into a shape that doesn't fit

We build the path where people already walk. Fighting that never works.

How We Build a Path That Lasts

The part nobody sees is the part that decides whether you're happy in five years. Here's the order we work in:

  1. We walk the property with you and mark out the route, checking where water runs and where the grade changes.
  2. We excavate to the right depth for the material and the expected traffic — deeper for a driveway-adjacent entry, lighter for a garden trail.
  3. We lay and compact the base so the path has something solid to sit on and water has somewhere to go.
  4. We set the surface — pavers, stone or loose material — keeping lines true and joints tight.
  5. We install edge restraint or borders so nothing creeps outward over time.
  6. We clean up, sweep in joint material where it applies, and haul away every bit of spoil and offcut.

If the new walkway ties into beds, sod or lighting, we handle those transitions too, so you're not left with a raw seam between the new work and the rest of the yard.

Frequently Asked Questions

How wide should a front walkway be?

For a main entry, we usually recommend enough width for two people to walk side by side comfortably. Garden and side paths can be narrower. We'll mark the width on the ground during the estimate so you can see it before we dig.

Do you repair existing walkways or only build new ones?

Both. If pavers have settled, shifted or the base has failed, we can lift, rebuild the base and reset them. Sometimes a repair makes sense; sometimes a rebuild is the better value. We'll tell you which.

Which areas do you serve?

LaBelle, Lehigh Acres, Felda, Alva and Palmdale.

What hours can I reach you?

We're open Monday through Sunday, 24 hours. Call (239) 237-9787 any time and we'll answer or get back to you quickly.

Will a gravel path stay in place in heavy rain?

With proper edging and the right base, yes. Loose material without a restraint is what washes into the lawn. We install edging on every gravel or shell path for that reason.

How do I get a price?
